SHORT CODE:
Are special telephone numbers, significant shorter than Full telephone numbers
that can be used to address SMS AND MMS messages from mobile phones or fixed
phones. They are also known as short numbers. They are new, easy way for media
outlets, brand owners and others to use mobile phones to reach and interact
with target audience. Short codes are based on text messaging, a service available
on almost all digital mobile phones. Instead of a 10-digit number, short code

DEDICATED SHORT CODE
Dedicated short codes are for clients who intend to
provide a range of
different mobile services, expect a high monthly volume of
messages or
want to offer more complex 2-way services. It is also
known as custom
profit making.
This type does not require a KEYWORD before the account
can be
identified.
Example, a user can just send NAME and LOCATION to 33333
and the
short code server will identified it as a CUSTOMER A code.
A Customer
can set the billing rate for the dedicated short to a
particular amount.
